With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iskandar Laycock in the 6th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Monico Montoya saved Big Babousa from getting behind. Daniel Seah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustavo Haritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Iskandar Laycock in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Monico Montoya prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Oakham's Iskandar Laycock in the 15th minute got a chance for a shot 15th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After some careless play in the Big Babousa defense, Merlin Tian kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Monico Montoya. The Big Babousa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Monico Montoya should have stopped the shot. Monico Montoya made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iskandar Laycock in the 36th minute of play. When Oakham's Iskandar Laycock in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Big Babousa's goalie prevented a goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Sergio Bertran didn't get a good kick on the ball. Monico Montoya made an important save on a dangerous shot by Merlin Tian in the 67th minute. In the 67th minute, Oakham's Merlin Tian ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Monico Montoya. Big Babousa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Emanuel Mero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Iskandar Chian's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Monico Montoya was relentless in the 80th minute of the game. Emanuel Mero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Seah having to interfere.
