The score was now 2-1. 36 minutes into the match, Róbert Vajda notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of FC Kiepurowo's Mariusz Kosakowski. Mariusz Kosakowski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 40 minutes into the match, Gyál United's goalkeeper Sándor Jászberényi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fabian Zawacki. Sándor Jászberényi made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Fabian Zawacki sent off a good shot on target. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

If Fabian Zawacki had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Róbert Vajda who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 59thth minute tested the skills of Mariusz Kosakowski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Róbert Vajda in the 61st minute of play forced FC Kiepurowo's goalkeeper Mariusz Kosakowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 79th minute, János Döbrögi made a precise shot to the right of Mariusz Kosakowski. With 94 minutes on the clock, Ferenc Boros commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 95th minute, Ferenc Boros hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaroslaw Rakoski missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 97 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Sándor Jászberényi right hand side.
