The crowd rose to their feet as Oakham's Danish Henderson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Monico Montoya. That made the score 2-0 after 18 minutes of play. A collision led to Big Babousa getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Gaspar Rainerio hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asiz Koh in the 25th minute of play forced Big Babousa's goalkeeper Monico Montoya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Monico Montoya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iskandar Laycock in the 26th minute of the match. Asiz Koh charged in rather forcefully in the 30th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Asiz Koh the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Oakham's Asiz Koh got a free kick in the 30th minute. In the 36th minute Iskandar Laycock shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Monico Montoya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Iskandar Laycock reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Monico Montoya. The goal made the score 3-0. Ang Seng was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th match minute, Oakham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ang Seng to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Mero was the one to do the kick off. The referee ignored Big Babousa's protests and gave Marco Lorenz a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Oakham booed when Big Babousa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marco Lorenz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Seah showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sergio Bertran, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Danish Henderson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Monico Montoya tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Monico Montoya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merlin Tian in the 65th minute of the match. Merlin Tian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Seah made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustavo Haritz in the 86th minute of play. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Big Babousa's goalkeeper Monico Montoya, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Big Babousa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
