Benito Guter was out of position in the 7 minute of play, and Kent Barling capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kent Barling really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s Benito Guter played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kent Barling in the 12th minute of play. 2-0 became the score in the 13th minute when Kent Barling elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Kirby Chant stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Anselmo Errando's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Stevie Gerrard got free with Benito Guter in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 32 minutes into the match, Cartero de Agronomia F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Kent Barling came free, but Benito Guter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stevie Gerrard struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Benito Guter didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Manly FC. Neale Franklin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Kirby Chant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Segundo Gauargi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kent Barling was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Patricio Eleder during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Patricio Eleder hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute, Segundo Gauargi left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cartero de Agronomia F.C. fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. 89 minutes into the game, Segundo Gauargi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Kirby Chant. Segundo Gauargi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-2. The supporters of Cartero de Agronomia F.C. booed when Manly FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kent Barling didn't get a good kick on the ball. Manly FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
