The coaching staff of El Fortín de Floresta protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Timoteo Sanson had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Alfredo Txilar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Munroe Brien in the 78th minute of the match. Paolo Cordeal made in the 84th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Manly FC's Burtt Cusbert. The supporters of El Fortín de Floresta booed when Manly FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stan Peplow didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Donato Pancho in the 90th minute really tested Kirby Chant's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Horacio Jerano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
