Douglas Apelkvist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Rolf Saelens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfred Vester, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 78th minute, De Keikoppers's Billie Verbraecken ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Douglas Apelkvist. Douglas Apelkvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-8. Douglas Apelkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Billie Verbraecken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Klas Harman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With a little luck, Tough and Tasty FC's Douglas Apelkvist got control of the ball when Steve De kaiser tried to sneak it across the goal line.
