Steve De kaiser scored 2-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Quinito Cifuentes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jorg Vanneste hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Rolf Saelens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Uriel Zubiaga in the 11th minute of the match. Rolf Saelens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vergaray Echeto went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Quinito Cifuentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bobby Deville in the 27th minute of play. With a little luck, Cuatrodeocho's Quinito Cifuentes got control of the ball when Jesse Roeckeloes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rolf Saelens didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Vergaray Echeto went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Rolf Saelens made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vergaray Echeto in the 42nd minute of play. Quinito Cifuentes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Steve De kaiser, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Quinito Cifuentes made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Steve De kaiser sent off a good shot on target. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Steve De kaiser was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Cuatrodeocho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Belo Sauca to maneuver through the defense. Cuatrodeocho's Quinito Cifuentes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bobby Deville in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute De Keikoppers were awarded a corner. Gabriel Gillekens went to the cornerflag to take it. Billie Verbraecken fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Quinito Cifuentes having to interfere. After 61 minutes, Armand Zimmer mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Keikoppers and the Cuatrodeocho players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, De Keikoppers's Armand Zimmer got a free kick in the 61st minute. Quinito Cifuentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steve De kaiser in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match, Uriel Zubiaga got a very nice opportunity to score, but Rolf Saelens was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Steve De kaiser scored 3-2 in the 69th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Quinito Cifuentes, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cuatrodeocho's Karmel Unzueta was substituted for Uriel Zubiaga. After 79 played minutes Cuatrodeocho got a freekick which was hit by Vergaray Echeto. The supporters of Cuatrodeocho booed when De Keikoppers was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Billie Verbraecken didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vergaray Echeto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Saelens having to interfere. Karmel Unzuetas short, quick shot in the 95thth minute got Rolf Saelens to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 95th minute Marcial Tarin suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Tim Pellegrims's late challenge caught a Cuatrodeocho's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tim Pellegrims helped the player get up and apologised. Tim Pellegrims kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. Cuatrodeocho were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
