The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Quinito Cifuentes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hori Malet in the 3rd minute of the match. In the 12th minute, Rioja Franco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 13 minutes into the match, Bazil Noya dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Gustau Ageitos, 1-0. The supporters of Cuatrodeocho booed when POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ticho Larrangos didn't get a good kick on the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Cuatrodeocho's Bazil Noya slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gustau Ageitos. That made the score 2-0 after 22 minutes of play. Gustau Ageitos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcial Tarin in the 27th minute of the match. In the 27th minute, Allande Fuente hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Cuatrodeocho's zone, Hori Malet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Quinito Cifuentes came out of the goal and Hori Malet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Tarin in the 41st minute of play forced POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's goalkeeper Gustau Ageitos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hori Malet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Quinito Cifuentes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

In the 52nd match minute, POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jenaro Serrato to maneuver through the defense. When Bazil Noya fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cuatrodeocho's protests and gave Bazil Noya a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes Cuatrodeocho got a freekick which was hit by Bazil Noya. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ticho Larrangos in the 57th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Quinito Cifuentes saved Cuatrodeocho from getting behind. Austin Urbina charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Austin Urbina the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 63rd minute Bazil Noya shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustau Ageitos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quinito Cifuentes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ticho Larrangos in the 64th minute of play. In the 65th match minute, POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nikola Cervera to maneuver through the defense. After 66 played minutes POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol got a freekick which was hit by Nikola Cervera. The supporters of POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol booed when Cuatrodeocho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marcial Tarin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Quinito Cifuentes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hori Malet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's Gustau Ageitos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcial Tarin in the 78th minute of play. In the 79th minute Marcial Tarin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gustau Ageitos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 81 played minutes POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol got a freekick which was hit by Ticho Larrangos. Allande Fuente hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Jenaro Serrato kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Gustau Ageitos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Austin Urbina in the 90th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcial Tarin in the 91st minute of play forced POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol's goalkeeper Gustau Ageitos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the POSEIDON FC DeusDeFutbol players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cuatrodeocho.
