De Keikoppers's Ritchie Stocks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Inautzi in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Leon Heijligem left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Keikoppers fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leon Heijligem in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Feliciano Chale prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 33rd minute, Leon Heijligem made a precise shot to the right of Feliciano Chale. 010011110100011001000110's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 36th minute of the match Aime De Graef shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Feliciano Chale showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 38 minutes into the match, De Keikoppers's goal looked a bit too open when Vicente Inautzi came free, but Ritchie Stocks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 41 played minutes De Keikoppers got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Gillis. In the 43rd minute, Vicente Inautzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

With an all-out effort, De Keikoppers's Feliciano Chale threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Boris Stroobant, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Boris Stroobant during the 62nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ritchie Stocks came out of the goal and Dalmacio Peio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dalmacio Peio in the 83rd minute of play forced De Keikoppers's goalkeeper Ritchie Stocks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boris Stroobant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Leon Heijligem could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Feliciano Chale made a huge save. Ritchie Stocks didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dalmacio Peio went, in the 91st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. After 97 minutes, Leon Heijligem mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the De Keikoppers and the 010011110100011001000110 players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 97th match minute, De Keikoppers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Heijligem to maneuver through the defense.
