The referee ignored Beetje Moe Re-United's protests and gave Dirk-Jan van der Schaaf a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Recolta Alamor booed when Beetje Moe Re-United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dirk-Jan van der Schaaf didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edwin Helwig showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eldon Mills in the 5th minute of the match. Alfred Nagel struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Kerry Barajas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beetje Moe Re-United. After 18 minutes, Gert Degens mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beetje Moe Re-United and the Recolta Alamor players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Recolta Alamor booed when Beetje Moe Re-United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gert Degens didn't get a good kick on the ball. Edwin Helwig took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Whitley, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Beetje Moe Re-United's goalkeeper Edwin Helwig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eldon Mills. After a defensive mix-up in Beetje Moe Re-United's zone, German Whitley stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edwin Helwig came out of the goal and German Whitley tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Freddie Downs could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 30th minute of the match, but Edwin Helwig made a huge save. 35 minutes into the match, Alfred Nagel notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Recolta Alamor's Kerry Barajas. Kerry Barajas was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 40 minutes into the match, Beetje Moe Re-United's goalkeeper Edwin Helwig had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Freddie Downs. The supporters of Beetje Moe Re-United booed when Recolta Alamor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Whitley didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Recolta Alamor getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Felipe Jacques hit a great ball. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Ivo Mastebroek sped through Recolta Alamor's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kerry Barajas. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

After a defensive mix-up in Recolta Alamor's zone, Alfred Nagel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Kerry Barajas came out of the goal and Alfred Nagel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eldon Mills during the 59th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Recolta Alamor getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Eldon Mills hit a great ball. Ivo Mastebroek's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kerry Barajas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Edwin Helwig made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Freddie Downs in the 70th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Felipe Jacques during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Kerry Barajas acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 74th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Martin Lambers. If Freddie Downs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the game, Eldon Mills cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Edwin Helwig was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 90th minute, Eldon Mills ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edwin Helwig was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Recolta Alamor had played much better football throughout.
