An unexpectedly hard shot by Oskar Vaha in the 12th minute of play forced CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's goalkeeper Ezequiel Eladio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Lembit Õigus had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute, Maarek Poltimäe hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pablo Feliz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Aivar Laineste. FC Kopli's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Aivar Laineste made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Florencio Chico sent off a good shot on target. Maarek Rajamäe hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Maarek Rajamäe fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Kopli's protests and gave Maarek Rajamäe a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Kopli getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Maarek Rajamäe hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Maarek Poltimäe during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 42 minutes into the game, one of FC Kopli:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 44 minutes, CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Florencio Chico got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Aivar Laineste. In the 47th minute of the match, Delmiro Arce got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aivar Laineste was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

FC Kopli's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Florencio Chico was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Jacobo Txeru was substituted for Gogo Miro. CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Abelardo Conrao was substituted for Froilan Benvide. The supporters of FC Kopli booed when CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Feliz didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Lembit Õigus came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the FC Kopli fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lembit Õigus couldn't finish the play. After 88 minutes, Maarek Laaser mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Kopli and the CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ players grew even worse after the yellow card.
