After a defensive mix-up in Varennes's zone, Manuel Santo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juste Reynolds came out of the goal and Manuel Santo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ booed when Varennes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lyman Peacock didn't get a good kick on the ball. Florencio Chico, 12 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. A collision led to Varennes getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Tony Villeneuve hit a great ball. Manuel Santo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juste Reynolds having to interfere. In the 17th match minute, Varennes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Villeneuve to maneuver through the defense. Varennes's Arden Turner got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In a very dangerous position, a player in CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 28th minute. Penalty! The supporters of CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ booed when Varennes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tony Villeneuve didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Arden Turner recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Ezequiel Eladio. Arden Turner showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Manuel Santo was the one to do the kick off. Juste Reynolds made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manuel Santo in the 52nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Pablo Feliz got a free kick in the 53rd minute. A hard shot 56 in the game by Florencio Chico from a close distance when the talented Juste Reynolds managed to make a qualified save. Varennes's players were relieved. In the 60th match minute, Varennes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lyman Peacock to maneuver through the defense. CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Jacobo Txeru was substituted for Gogo Miro. 69 minutes into the game, Arden Turner was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Varennes's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ the free kick. Manuel Santo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Pablo Feliz kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75thth minute of the game Rudy Cherry who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ's Ezequiel Eladio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manuel Santo's late challenge caught a Varennes's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manuel Santo helped the player get up and apologised. In the 78th minute, Manuel Santo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ezequiel Eladio stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rudy Cherry's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. When Graham Gareau fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Varennes's protests and gave Graham Gareau a yellow card for diving instead. Ezequiel Eladio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Graham Gareau, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. When Manuel Santo came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the CaNsErBeRo FC Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Santo couldn't finish the play.
