The referee ignored Şamaxı Bankirlər's protests and gave Älağa Ziyadov a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Şamaxı Bankirlər defense, Eugenio Giro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Péter Čech. The Şamaxı Bankirlər fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Péter Čech should have stopped the shot. Péter Čech showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florencio Kepa in the 17th minute of the match. Dalmacio Sanchez blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Péter Čech having to make a save. 18 minutes into the match, Fausto Benvide notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Şamaxı Bankirlər's Péter Čech. After 40 minutes of play, Şamaxı Bankirlər's Aqil Bağiyev made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Primitivo Enetz was left in no man's land by his defense there! When Abdulhämid Ibrahimli fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Şamaxı Bankirlər's protests and gave Abdulhämid Ibrahimli a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Şamaxı Bankirlər getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Abdulhämid Ibrahimli hit a great ball. Natalio Unax's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Péter Čech read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. Péter Čech made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Eugenio Giro sent off a good shot on target. Francisco Rubio didn't get a good kick on the ball. With his leg Péter Čech managed to avoid a goal in the 96thth minute, when ♪Ω★ Vysčø¢hįtø Çųěřvø ★Ω♪'s Eugenio Giro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 97 minutes into the match, Şamaxı Bankirlər's goalkeeper Péter Čech had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dalmacio Sanchez.
