The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience was convinced that Teofilo Barros's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Beto Valle was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. After 18 played minutes Leon Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Sandrinho Eger. In the 19th minute of the match Ferrán Alcedo sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Beto Valle skillfully saved the ball. Poulus Pedraza scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Beto Valle, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sandrinho Eger got free with Marino Alzola in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Teofilo Barros in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beto Valle saved Leon Sport Club from getting behind. The supporters of Leon Sport Club booed when CSD Concepción was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ferrán Alcedo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandrinho Eger received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Marino Alzola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 32 minutes into the game, Betinho Munhoz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leon Sport Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave CSD Concepción the free kick. After a rather tough play, Leon Sport Club's Betinho Munhoz got a free kick in the 32nd minute. After some careless play in the Leon Sport Club defense, Santiago Macuer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Beto Valle. The Leon Sport Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Beto Valle should have stopped the shot. In the 42ndth minute of the game Teofilo Barros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Leon Sport Club's Beto Valle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

After having played for 51 minutes, Santiago Macuer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSD Concepción's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santiago Macuer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Santiago Macuer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 57 played minutes Leon Sport Club got a freekick which was hit by Wágner Mazza. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Santiago Macuer managed to get in a good position for a shot. CSD Concepción's supporters rose to their feet, but Santiago Macuer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Beto Valle breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Poulus Pedraza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Beto Valle read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 62nd minute of play. Beto Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Poulus Pedraza in the 63rd minute of the match. Teofilo Barros in the 66thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Beto Valle, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Beto Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Poulus Pedraza in the 72nd minute of the match. When the final whistle sounded CSD Concepción left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Leon Sport Club.
