Victor Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Narciso Fix, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. After some careless play in the Leon Sport Club defense, Severo Sustrai kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Victor Mendonça. The Leon Sport Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Victor Mendonça should have stopped the shot. Victor Mendonça came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Utopía Muerta FC's Severo Sustrai. But to his dismay, Severo Sustrai quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 24 minutes into the game, Severo Sustrai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Victor Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Severo Sustrai took the ball and in the 27 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Mendonça. Victor Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. Victor Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurelio Mederi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Victor Mendonça, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 36 minutes into the game, Vitório Severo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Leon Sport Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Utopía Muerta FC the free kick. In the 36th match minute, Leon Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vitório Severo to maneuver through the defense. Severo Sustrai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Mendonça having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-5.

In the 53rd minute, Severo Sustrai fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 59 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Sustrai came free, but Victor Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Severo Sustrai fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victor Mendonça having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severo Sustrai in the 77th minute of play forced Leon Sport Club's goalkeeper Victor Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Damian Lluciano fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Utopía Muerta FC's protests and gave Damian Lluciano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, Damian Lluciano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Leon Sport Club's zone, Severo Sustrai stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Mendonça came out of the goal and Severo Sustrai tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Narciso Fix recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Narciso Fix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Victor Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Severo Sustrai came free, but Victor Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 89 minutes into the game, Jonas Socorro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-6. Victor Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Utopía Muerta FC played a much better game than Leon Sport Club and deserved their victory. The Leon Sport Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
