Irakliy Khokhlov was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Abdulhämid Ibrahimli capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Abdulhämid Ibrahimli really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3. After 93 played minutes Şamaxı Bankirlər got a freekick which was hit by Hümmät Abdulxälilov. The audience was convinced that Rudolf Kotlyarevskiy's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Péter Čech was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Leonid Eremin scored 3-3 in the 96th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Péter Čech, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Şamaxı Bankirlər players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Днепр ФК from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
