The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With a little luck, Nova Venécia-ES's Leopoldo Mendonça got control of the ball when Arkadiusz Czajkowski tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 5th match minute, Nova Venécia-ES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guga Neves to maneuver through the defense. Christiano Dante lost his temper 9 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 9th minute, one of Nova Venécia-ES:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Nova Venécia-ES. Maciej Pusiak didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Giovani Ramos went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Nova Venécia-ES's Leopoldo Mendonça proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Nova Venécia-ES from getting a goal against them. In the 18th match minute, Nova Venécia-ES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Carlos Garcia to maneuver through the defense. José Carlos Garcia's late challenge caught a Olimpia HSB's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 20 played minutes Nova Venécia-ES got a freekick which was hit by José Carlos Garcia. 23 minutes into the game, Olimpia HSB's Damian Grucza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Leopoldo Mendonça made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. In the 26th minute, Damian Grucza got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Leopoldo Mendonça didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Arkadiusz Czajkowski went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. After 35 played minutes Nova Venécia-ES got a freekick which was hit by Wilton Paes. After some careless play in the Nova Venécia-ES defense, Arkadiusz Czajkowski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Leopoldo Mendonça. The Nova Venécia-ES fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Leopoldo Mendonça should have stopped the shot. In the 41st match minute, Nova Venécia-ES was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ismael Brito to maneuver through the defense. Konrad Puch kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 5-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Damian Grucza to strike the kick off in the second half. Leopoldo Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Konrad Puch, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. José Carlos Garcia struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Maciej Pusiak didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nova Venécia-ES. When the match clock showed 54 minutes, the score became 6-1 when Damian Grucza sped through Nova Venécia-ES's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Leopoldo Mendonça. Leopoldo Mendonça came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Olimpia HSB's Arkadiusz Czajkowski. But to his dismay, Arkadiusz Czajkowski quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. 62 minutes into the match, Arkadiusz Czajkowski notched a goal, 8-1, to the right of Nova Venécia-ES's Leopoldo Mendonça. Leopoldo Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Leopoldo Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Konrad Puch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luís Guilherme de Mendonça hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Zbigniew Galagan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leopoldo Mendonça was frozen by the shot and now it was 9-1. Leopoldo Mendonça came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Olimpia HSB's Zbigniew Galagan. But to his dismay, Zbigniew Galagan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 10-1. Nova Venécia-ES's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Olimpia HSB the free kick. In the 89th minute, Arkadiusz Czajkowski made a precise shot to the right of Leopoldo Mendonça. Nova Venécia-ES's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 13-1. When the referee ended the match the Olimpia HSB players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
