Leon Sport Club's César Ferreira got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a little luck, Leon Sport Club's Victor Mendonça got control of the ball when Tobias Wall tried to sneak it across the goal line. 12 minutes into the match, Hans Törnblom notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Leon Sport Club's Victor Mendonça. Victor Mendonça was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hamílton do Nascimento hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tobias Wall got free with Victor Mendonça in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 22nd minute, AC Superstar's Börje Hjälm dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. In the 26th minute César Ferreira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Viggo Grönberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 27 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Börje Hjälm came free, but Victor Mendonça reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tobias Wall struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Victor Mendonça didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for AC Superstar. In the 41st minute, Hans Törnblom left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Superstar fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Rony Lara hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. 52 minutes into the game, AC Superstar's Tobias Wall nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Victor Mendonça made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. After a defensive mix-up in Leon Sport Club's zone, Tobias Wall stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victor Mendonça came out of the goal and Tobias Wall tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 59th minute, Hans Törnblom hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the game, Börje Hjälm cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Victor Mendonça was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 66 minutes into the game, Tobias Wall was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Superstar's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Leon Sport Club the free kick. Victor Mendonça showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Börje Hjälm, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After 85 minutes, Hamílton do Nascimento mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Leon Sport Club and the AC Superstar players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of AC Superstar booed when Leon Sport Club was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hamílton do Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victor Mendonça made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hans Törnblom in the 86th minute of play. In the 88th minute Tobias Wall shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor Mendonça saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 90 minutes into the match, Leon Sport Club's Hamílton do Nascimento sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Viggo Grönberg narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hans Törnblom took the ball and in the 92 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor Mendonça. Victor Mendonça dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. AC Superstar's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
