Spectators: 7650 (Terracing: 5739, Seating: 1759, VIP seats: 152) The supporters of -BZF- Valea Buzăului booed when FC Draconia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornelis Van De Ven didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th minute, Costică Stoleru sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Draconia's Mike Van Hooveldt didn't even have to move. After some careless play in the FC Draconia defense, Cosmin Galiceanu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mike Van Hooveldt. The FC Draconia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mike Van Hooveldt should have stopped the shot. Mike Van Hooveldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cosmin Galiceanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. In the 12th minute Costică Stoleru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Van Hooveldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Martin Antim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Debecker went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, FC Draconia's Bobby Preuveneer got a free kick in the 21st minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costică Stoleru in the 22nd minute of play forced FC Draconia's goalkeeper Mike Van Hooveldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th match minute, FC Draconia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Kempeneers to maneuver through the defense. An unexpected shot in the 27th minute by Alfons Ceulemans got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 30 minutes, Steff Bernage mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Draconia and the -BZF- Valea Buzăului players grew even worse after the yellow card. Steff Bernage hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Mike Van Hooveldt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cosmin Galiceanu went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. When Costică Stoleru came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the -BZF- Valea Buzăului fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costică Stoleru couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jorge Kempeneers during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 38th match minute, FC Draconia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Kempeneers to maneuver through the defense. FC Draconia's Mike Van Hooveldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cosmin Galiceanu in the 40th minute of play. After having played for 41 minutes, Costică Stoleru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's supporters crossed their fingers, but Costică Stoleru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mike Van Hooveldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cosmin Galiceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mike Van Hooveldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iurie Ignat in the 45th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Cornelis Van De Ven managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Draconia's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelis Van De Ven was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Martin Antim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

Martin Antim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfons Ceulemans in the 53rd minute of play. Gilian Sulems recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Manuel Debecker had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Martin Antim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfons Ceulemans, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. Costică Stoleru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Mike Van Hooveldt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 67th match minute, -BZF- Valea Buzăului was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iurie Ignat to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costică Stoleru in the 79th minute of play forced FC Draconia's goalkeeper Mike Van Hooveldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st match minute, FC Draconia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilian Sulems to maneuver through the defense. After 83 minutes, Viorel Stoicea mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the -BZF- Valea Buzăului and the FC Draconia players grew even worse after the yellow card. Viorel Stoicea hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Martin Antim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfons Ceulemans in the 84th minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Viorel Stoicea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Mike Van Hooveldt. The goal made the score 1-4. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Martin Antim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alfons Ceulemans in the 93rd minute of play. When the match was over -BZF- Valea Buzăului could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FC Draconia throughout the match.
