Spectators: 7707 (Terracing: 5782, Seating: 1772, VIP seats: 153) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Sorin Vermeşan kicked off to start the match. In the 4th minute Sorin Vermeşan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martin Antim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 6th minute, Cazimir Puișoru hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ike Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Iurie Ignat in the 9th minute of play. After 10 played minutes F.C. YKE got a freekick which was hit by Dinu Frâncu. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cosmin Galiceanu in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ike Schmeichel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 13 minutes of play, F.C. YKE's Sorin Vermeşan made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Martin Antim was left in no man's land by his defense there! Costică Stoleru might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ike Schmeichel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Costică Stoleru ran back to his position shaking his head. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Adrian Dragoș got a free kick in the 18th minute. 19 minutes into the match, F.C. YKE's Cazimir Puișoru broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Costică Stoleru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Ike Schmeichel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to F.C. YKE getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Mugur Văleanu hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goal looked a bit too open when Dinu Frâncu came free, but Martin Antim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Antim was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mugur Văleanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 33 minute of play. After a rather tough play, -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Adrian Dragoș got a free kick in the 41st minute. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Martin Antim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save -BZF- Valea Buzăului from getting a goal against them. In the 46thth minute of the game Cosmin Galiceanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C. YKE's Ike Schmeichel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ike Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Virgil Udrea in the 48th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cosmin Galiceanu was the one to do the kick off. Ike Schmeichel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costică Stoleru in the 55th minute of play. -BZF- Valea Buzăului's Martin Antim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinu Frâncu in the 58th minute of play. In the 66th minute, Iurie Ignat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sorin Vermeşan in the 68th minute of play forced -BZF- Valea Buzăului's goalkeeper Martin Antim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 71st minute, Pavel Soare hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Martin Antim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sorin Vermeşan, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. In the 77th minute Costică Stoleru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ike Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sorin Vermeşan took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Martin Antim. Martin Antim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. F.C. YKE fully deserved thier win.
