A collision led to Loco De Remate getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Severino Gamus hit a great ball. In the 3rd minute of the match Alfons Ceulemans shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Samuel Mancio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After 7 played minutes Loco De Remate got a freekick which was hit by Jesus Librado. 9 minutes into the game, Fulgencio Artal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Loco De Remate's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FC Draconia the free kick. Fulgencio Artal kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. 15 minutes into the match, Gilian Sulems notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Loco De Remate's Samuel Mancio. Samuel Mancio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. With a little luck, FC Draconia's Mike Van Hooveldt got control of the ball when Anibal Marquez tried to sneak it across the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, FC Draconia's Alfons Ceulemans nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Samuel Mancio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Samuel Mancio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilian Sulems, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Severino Gamus charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Severino Gamus the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 28 played minutes Loco De Remate got a freekick which was hit by Severino Gamus. 32 minutes into the match, FC Draconia's goal looked a bit too open when Florencio Orlanda came free, but Mike Van Hooveldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gerardo Bibiano during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Loco De Remate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerardo Bibiano to maneuver through the defense. Severino Gamus got his second yellow card in the match during the 42nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Loco De Remate getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Severino Gamus hit a great ball. Loco De Remate's Natalio Ur suffered a sore foot after 46 minutes and couldn't finish the game. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gregory Cappelsmans during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Loco De Remate's Norberto Reyes was substituted for Natalio Ur. After the first half FC Draconia were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Alfons Ceulemans to strike the kick off in the second half. Samuel Mancio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfons Ceulemans in the 54th minute of play. Mike Van Hooveldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Norberto Reyes, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Resto in the 57th minute of play forced FC Draconia's goalkeeper Mike Van Hooveldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gerardo Bibiano kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Jesus Librado kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Loco De Remate's Samuel Mancio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Loco De Remate from getting a goal against them. Samuel Mancio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilian Sulems in the 73rd minute of the match. When Manuel Debecker came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the FC Draconia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Debecker couldn't finish the play. 79 minutes into the match, FC Draconia's goal looked a bit too open when Norberto Reyes came free, but Mike Van Hooveldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Loco De Remate's Fulgencio Artal seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fulgencio Artal the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Loco De Remate protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fulgencio Artal had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In a very dangerous position, a player in Loco De Remate fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 80th minute. Penalty! Samuel Mancio went to the wrong direction when Alfons Ceulemans was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Loco De Remate's Samuel Mancio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Loco De Remate from getting a goal against them. 89 minutes into the game, Alvaro Resto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Mike Van Hooveldt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Samuel Mancio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Manuel Debecker went, in the 93rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. The FC Draconia supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FC Draconia would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
