After 2 played minutes Dogelo got a freekick which was hit by Agnaldo Brasil. FC Draconia's Mike Van Hooveldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Mineiro in the 6th minute of play. Mike Van Hooveldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Mineiro in the 8th minute of the match. In the 13th minute, Yan Melo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Douglas Miranda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfons Ceulemans in the 15th minute of play forced Dogelo's goalkeeper Pedro Augusto Silva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mike Van Hooveldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maicon Moura in the 16th minute of the match. In the 17th match minute, FC Draconia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alfons Ceulemans to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the FC Draconia defense, Narciso Rodrigues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mike Van Hooveldt. The FC Draconia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mike Van Hooveldt should have stopped the shot. In the 24th minute Maicon Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Van Hooveldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, FC Draconia's goal looked a bit too open when Narciso Rodrigues came free, but Mike Van Hooveldt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 28 minutes into the game, Ian Mineiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mike Van Hooveldt was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vivaldo Vides kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. A collision led to Dogelo getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Douglas Miranda hit a great ball. 32 minutes into the match, Manuel Debecker notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Dogelo's Pedro Augusto Silva. Pedro Augusto Silva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mike Van Hooveldt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maicon Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Mike Van Hooveldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maicon Moura in the 42nd minute of the match. FC Draconia's Mike Van Hooveldt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Rodrigues in the 43rd minute of play. Gregory Cappelsmans hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Claudinho Lira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The wind increased when Maicon Moura made the kick off in the second half. Mike Van Hooveldt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Mineiro in the 55th minute of the match. Alfons Ceulemans sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manuel Debecker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Pedro Augusto Silva tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pedro Augusto Silva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfons Ceulemans in the 70th minute of the match. Maicon Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike Van Hooveldt having to interfere. After 75 minutes, Yan Melo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dogelo and the FC Draconia players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Dogelo getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Yan Melo hit a great ball. Alfons Ceulemans was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 76th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 80th minute, Maicon Moura made a precise shot to the right of Mike Van Hooveldt. FC Draconia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-4. In the 83rd minute Ian Mineiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Van Hooveldt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Dogelo's Claudinho Lira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mike Van Hooveldt narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mike Van Hooveldt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Mineiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maicon Moura in the 92nd minute of play forced FC Draconia's goalkeeper Mike Van Hooveldt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 97 minutes into the game, Narciso Rodrigues recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mike Van Hooveldt. Narciso Rodrigues showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-5. Dogelo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
