The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. October 04's Diego de Toledo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Broberg in the 2nd minute of play. After 5 minutes, Dag Bollström mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Scrotum Kickers FC and the October 04 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Wesley Teles managed to get in a good position for a shot. October 04's supporters rose to their feet, but Wesley Teles was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sven Palmquist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Scrotum Kickers FC's Sven Palmquist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wesley Teles in the 13th minute of play. Sven Palmquist made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 27th minute, Pedro Paulo Paes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The October 04 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pedro Paulo Paes in the 35th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sven Palmquist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 35 played minutes Scrotum Kickers FC got a freekick which was hit by Dag Bollström. Sven Palmquist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Paulo Paes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wesley Teles made a kick off. Rune Tönnberg hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Scrotum Kickers FC's zone, Toni Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sven Palmquist came out of the goal and Toni Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Håkan Sandström fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scrotum Kickers FC's protests and gave Håkan Sandström a yellow card for diving instead.
