Yan Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldemar Maranhense in the 7th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Fábio Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Figueira SC FSCMZ's supporters rose to their feet, but Fábio Arantes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Yan Monteiro breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12th minute, Tadeu Alagoano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tadeu Alagoano charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tadeu Alagoano the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 20th match minute, Figueira SC FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeu Alagoano to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho Dias in the 25th minute of play forced TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Yan Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Waldemar Maranhense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yan Monteiro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alexsandro Carioca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Azevedo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcelinho Dias in the 37th minute of play forced TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Yan Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 40th minute, Alfredo Loureiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredo Loureiro kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Simão Pinheiro to make the kick off. Figueira SC FSCMZ's Alexsandro Carioca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Varela in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s Nilson Novaes got a free kick in the 56th minute. 57 minutes into the match, TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s goalkeeper Yan Monteiro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcelinho Dias. 58 minutes into the match, Simão Pinheiro notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s Yan Monteiro. Yan Monteiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Yan Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simão Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. 71 minutes into the match, TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-'s goal looked a bit too open when Waldemar Maranhense came free, but Yan Monteiro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alexsandro Carioca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adriano Azevedo went, in the 73rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Alexsandro Carioca showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nando das Neves in the 77th minute of the match. Marcelinho Dias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Yan Monteiro made a huge save. Tiago Guedes hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. 87 minutes into the game, Simão Pinheiro recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Yan Monteiro. Simão Pinheiro showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Teodoro Varela struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Alexsandro Carioca didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for TOCO Y ME VOY F.C. -DMZ-. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Figueira SC FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
