An unexpectedly hard shot by Andreas Seremetiadis in the 5th minute of play forced Tarada's goalkeeper Timothee Kuoni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tarada were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after GREEN LIONS's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kian Sauber took the corner. If Pippin Naumann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Theofanis Tseberlidis was a little too slow when Fletcher Fügli got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-0. After having played for 22 minutes, Fletcher Fügli managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tarada's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fletcher Fügli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Tarada's goal looked a bit too open when Nikolas Kalapodas came free, but Timothee Kuoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Theofanis Tseberlidis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pippin Naumann in the 25th minute. If Nikolas Kalapodas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Tarada's Kian Sauber got a free kick in the 27th minute. Tarada's Timothee Kuoni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andreas Seremetiadis in the 28th minute of play. Timothee Kuoni stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Andreas Seremetiadis's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute, Andreas Seremetiadis made a precise shot to the right of Timothee Kuoni. Tarada's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Erasmus Fries charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Erasmus Fries the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Erasmus Fries kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Fletcher Fügli received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Theofanis Tseberlidis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Pippin Naumann made the kick off in the second half. When Ilias Tsaris fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GREEN LIONS's protests and gave Ilias Tsaris a yellow card for diving instead. In the 51st match minute, GREEN LIONS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ilias Tsaris to maneuver through the defense. If Olympio Bizier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 54 minutes, Grigoris Bertsis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GREEN LIONS and the Tarada players grew even worse after the yellow card. Theofanis Tseberlidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pippin Naumann, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Nikolas Kalapodas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Timothee Kuoni made a huge save. In the 66th minute GREEN LIONS were awarded a corner. Akis Moustakis went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Nikolas Kalapodas managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 69th match minute, Tarada was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kian Sauber to maneuver through the defense. In the 73rd minute of the match Akis Moustakis shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Timothee Kuoni showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 77 minutes into the match, Tarada's goal looked a bit too open when Nikolas Kalapodas came free, but Timothee Kuoni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pippin Naumann hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Andreas Seremetiadis could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Timothee Kuoni made a huge save. In the 82nd minute, Akis Moustakis got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Tarada's defense didn't have a chance, in the 83rd minute, when Andreas Seremetiadis scored to the left of an out of position Timothee Kuoni, making the score, 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fletcher Fügli in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Theofanis Tseberlidis saved GREEN LIONS from getting behind. Theofanis Tseberlidis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fletcher Fügli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of GREEN LIONS booed when Tarada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erasmus Fries didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 96 played minutes, GREEN LIONS's Grigoris Bertsis shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Timothee Kuoni came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in GREEN LIONS reached it.
