In the 67th minute, La France FC's Jimeno Nalo seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Jimeno Nalo the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of La France FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Jimeno Nalo had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Barrabases de Victoria made a substitution. Ariano Soffia replaced Claudio Turpin. Adriel Echandia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Efrain Bemabe fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored La France FC's protests and gave Efrain Bemabe a yellow card for diving instead. Cleto Peru struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Francisco Canitrot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La France FC.
