The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 9th minute, Gerrit Baker hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 1-0 became the score in the 11th minute when Temelko Tikov elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 15 minutes into the match, Verwachting's goal looked a bit too open when Volodya Latev came free, but Henny Jans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ventzislav Gerginov did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-0 to the left of a surprised Henny Jans 17 minutes into the match. In the 21st minute Nano Ginev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henny Jans saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st minute, Joop Heinen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Verwachting's Henny Jans proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Verwachting from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 4-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Nano Ginev to strike the kick off in the second half. After 62 minutes of play, THE CLUB's Ventzislav Gerginov made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Henny Jans was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Nano Ginev in the 65th minute of play forced Verwachting's goalkeeper Henny Jans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 66 played minutes Verwachting got a freekick which was hit by Joop Heinen. 71 minutes into the match, Verwachting's goal looked a bit too open when Nano Ginev came free, but Henny Jans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 77th match minute, Verwachting was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gerrit Baker to maneuver through the defense. 80 minutes into the match, Ventzislav Gerginov had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Henny Jans. Verwachting's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ventzislav Gerginov was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. Henny Jans showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nano Ginev, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 92nd minute, Venko Dushev hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. THE CLUB walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
