Jean-Charles Desmoulins fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amador Jakue having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Israel Mederi during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 40 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Israel Mederi. Ciro Ferdinand charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciro Ferdinand the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Ciro Ferdinand got a free kick in the 46th minute. Amador Jakue was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 47th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Francis Attal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Florent Fernandes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jean-Charles Desmoulins in the 58th minute of play forced Leones FC's goalkeeper Amador Jakue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pierre-Henri Oudard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Louis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dante Mannie charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dante Mannie the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Leones FC's Dante Mannie got a free kick in the 64th minute. Amador Jakue showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Florent Fernandes in the 73rd minute of the match. En avant de guingamp's Pierre-Henri Oudard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alejo Louis in the 81st minute of play. Francis Attal might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Amador Jakue. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francis Attal ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Emiliano Faro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Pierre-Henri Oudard. That made the score 1-3 in the 94 minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Leones FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
