In the 7th minute Ferrán Andueza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amador Jakue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Barrabases de Victoria's zone, Alejo Louis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Francisco Canitrot came out of the goal and Alejo Louis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 11 played minutes, Barrabases de Victoria's Zavier Cumsille shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amador Jakue came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Barrabases de Victoria reached it. Nazario Hagedorn hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. 27 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Turpin came free, but Amador Jakue reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adriel Echandia hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Leones FC's Alejo Louis was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 33rd play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Ciro Ferdinand's late challenge caught a Barrabases de Victoria's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ciro Ferdinand helped the player get up and apologised. Leones FC's Amador Jakue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ariano Soffia in the 46th minute of play. After 46 played minutes Leones FC got a freekick which was hit by Alejo Louis. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reinaldo Pagueguy to strike the kick off in the second half. Claudio Turpin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Amador Jakue made a huge save. The supporters of Barrabases de Victoria booed when Leones FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dante Mannie didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alejo Louis hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, Miguel Lando had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Francisco Canitrot. Barrabases de Victoria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Miguel Lando was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Leones FC's Amador Jakue proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Leones FC from getting a goal against them. 67 minutes into the match, Leones FC's goalkeeper Amador Jakue had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicasio Quintero. 71 minutes into the match, Barrabases de Victoria's goal looked a bit too open when Alejo Louis came free, but Francisco Canitrot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Francisco Canitrot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Mederi, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. After 77 minutes of play, Leones FC's Alejo Louis made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Francisco Canitrot was left in no man's land by his defense there! Francisco Canitrot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alejo Louis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barrabases de Victoria made a substitution.
