Mirolyub Rusanov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogenis Priovolos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mirolyub Rusanov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Thrasivoulos Moisiadis in the 6th minute of the match. Ilias Peristeropoulos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Volodya Latev in the 12th minute of the match. Ilias Peristeropoulos was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Volodya Latev showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 17 minute of play. After a rather tough play, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Diogenis Priovolos got a free kick in the 20th minute. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Thrasivoulos Moisiadis put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Mirolyub Rusanov. The audience thought a goal was coming when Nano Ginev got free with Ilias Peristeropoulos in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Nano Ginev to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Volodya Latev shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ilias Peristeropoulos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ΠΑΟΚ FC's Ilias Peristeropoulos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Volodya Latev in the 55th minute of play. Yoncho Dambov's late challenge caught a ΠΑΟΚ FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. A collision led to THE CLUB getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Yoncho Dambov hit a great ball. With a little luck, THE CLUB's Mirolyub Rusanov got control of the ball when Thrasivoulos Moisiadis tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 65 played minutes THE CLUB got a freekick which was hit by Nencho Nanyov. In the 69th minute, THE CLUB's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Thrasivoulos Moisiadis fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. 71 minutes into the game, Thrasivoulos Moisiadis recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mirolyub Rusanov. Thrasivoulos Moisiadis showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. After 73 played minutes ΠΑΟΚ FC got a freekick which was hit by Alekos Korakakis. A collision led to THE CLUB getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Ventzislav Gerginov hit a great ball. After 88 minutes of play, THE CLUB's Nano Ginev made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ilias Peristeropoulos was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in ΠΑΟΚ FC's zone, Nano Ginev stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilias Peristeropoulos came out of the goal and Nano Ginev tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. THE CLUB's defense didn't have a chance, in the 97th minute, when Alekos Korakakis scored to the left of an out of position Mirolyub Rusanov, making the score, 2-3. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. ΠΑΟΚ FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
