An unexpectedly hard shot by Berdaitz Feliu in the 22nd minute of play forced ΠΑΟΚ FC's goalkeeper Theagenis Kounadopoulos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, ΠΑΟΚ FC's Stavros Symeonatos got a free kick in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Hustaz Dagora got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute, Hustaz Dagora left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. RACIN DE CHAWEN's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ΠΑΟΚ FC the free kick. After 37 played minutes RACIN DE CHAWEN got a freekick which was hit by Erlantz Revuelta. If Hustaz Dagora had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Petros Giannakis received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Manolo Ocaña came out and tried to block the shot, but Petros Giannakis slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 43rd minute. 46 minutes into the game, Hustaz Dagora cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Theagenis Kounadopoulos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hustaz Dagora was the one to do the kick off. Fermín Echeto hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When Berdaitz Feliu fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored RACIN DE CHAWEN's protests and gave Berdaitz Feliu a yellow card for diving instead. In the 58th match minute, RACIN DE CHAWEN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Berdaitz Feliu to maneuver through the defense. Manolo Ocaña took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Diogenis Priovolos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anestis Kapataidakis during the 63rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. ΠΑΟΚ FC had won after a very even match.
