Divina Comédia FC's Rogério Ceni played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rangel Goranov in the 24th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Divina Comédia FC got a freekick which was hit by José Paulo Negri. Rogério Ceni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vanko Korchev, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 35th match minute, Manchester United F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vanko Korchev to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vanko Korchev in the 37th minute of play forced Divina Comédia FC's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th minute Pavlin Karadimitrov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rogério Ceni saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

After 84 played minutes Divina Comédia FC got a freekick which was hit by Valério Cordeiro. Cristiano Furtado kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. Vanko Korchev succeeded in the game's 86th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. 89 minutes into the match, Divina Comédia FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pavlin Karadimitrov came free, but Rogério Ceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Haralampi Glavanakov took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogério Ceni. Rogério Ceni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. Manchester United F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
