In the 16th minute, AC Mayonnaise's Stig-Arne Ödman ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rogério Ceni. Rogério Ceni yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. If Dieguinho de Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Divina Comédia FC's Valério Cordeiro got a free kick in the 27th minute. 32 minutes into the game, Thomas Örtlund was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AC Mayonnaise's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Divina Comédia FC the free kick. 36 minutes into the game, AC Mayonnaise's Stig-Arne Ödman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Rogério Ceni made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. After 42 played minutes AC Mayonnaise got a freekick which was hit by Thomas Örtlund. When Dorian Valladares fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Divina Comédia FC's protests and gave Dorian Valladares a yellow card for diving instead. Dorian Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 48th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stig-Arne Ödman to make the kick off. Thomas Örtlund hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Dorian Valladares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but Valdemar Jönsson made a huge save. Divina Comédia FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorian Valladares was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The supporters of Divina Comédia FC booed when AC Mayonnaise was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thomas Örtlund didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdemar Jönsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dorian Valladares in the 76th minute of the match. In the 79th minute, Alfons Sundberg left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Mayonnaise fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Rogério Ceni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomas Örtlund, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alfons Sundberg took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogério Ceni. Rogério Ceni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. Divina Comédia FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
