Patagonia's Mauro Vermudo made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gösta Carlsson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gösta Carlsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Vermudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Allan Odin was the one to do the kick off. When the match had gone on for 55 minutes, Rene Maiorga took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Gösta Carlsson to make any attempt to save it. A collision led to Social y Dep. In the 60th minute, Peter Lövgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Social y Dep. Patagonia's Rodolfo Corderun got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 65 played minutes Käka Puck BK got a freekick which was hit by Tord Mikaelsson. After a defensive mix-up in Käka Puck BK's zone, Mauro Vermudo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gösta Carlsson came out of the goal and Mauro Vermudo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Saturnino Ireno received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gösta Carlsson came out and tried to block the shot, but Saturnino Ireno slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 71st minute. If Mauro Vermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
