Sandro Soares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rene Maiorga in the 3rd minute of play. Mauro Vermudo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Sandro Soares when he managed to save the team from getting behind. The supporters of Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF booed when Social y Dep. Patagonia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teo Mergildo didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Fausto Batista hit a great ball. Sandro Soares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mauro Vermudo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Sandro Soares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rene Maiorga in the 23rd minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Mauro Vermudo came free, but Sandro Soares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute, Zé Terra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Social y Dep. Patagonia's goal looked a bit too open when Matías Cavalcante came free, but Leonardo Orlondo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Saturnino Ireno notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Sandro Soares. Sandro Soares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Eduardo Reis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Leonardo Orlondo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Tião Tasso got a free kick in the 67th minute. After 71 minutes of play, Social y Dep. Patagonia's Mauro Vermudo made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Sandro Soares was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 83rd minute Mauro Vermudo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sandro Soares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Mauro Vermudo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
