Social y Dep. Patagonia's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Divina Comédia FC the free kick. The supporters of Divina Comédia FC booed when Social y Dep. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cristiano Furtado was the one to do the kick off. A collision led to Social y Dep. Patagonia getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Pedro Peyo hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, Cristiano Furtado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Leonardo Orlondo. In the 82nd minute, Rodolfo Corderun made a precise shot to the right of Rogério Ceni. Divina Comédia FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Mauro Vermudo took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rogério Ceni. Rogério Ceni dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. In the 90th minute, Pedro Peyo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Social y Dep. Patagonia had won after a very even match.
