Seating: 1800, VIP seats: 156) Ramos Cuyar made the kick off and thus started the match. When Niceto Ovalle fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Penuel Football Club's protests and gave Niceto Ovalle a yellow card for diving instead. Niceto Ovalle kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Eron Reguer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Samuel Burutzagi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ramos Cuyar who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 5thth minute tested the skills of Fidel Hernando when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 7th minute, Penuel Football Club's Jorge Rojas ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fidel Hernando. Fidel Hernando yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After a rather tough play, Penuel Football Club's Munio Larrieta got a free kick in the 10th minute. After a rather tough play, Northern California's Angelo Estebe got a free kick in the 12th minute. 18 minutes into the match, Northern California's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Rojas came free, but Fidel Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eron Reguer came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Northern California's Samuel Burutzagi. But to his dismay, Samuel Burutzagi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niceto Ovalle in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidel Hernando saved Northern California from getting behind. After 25 minutes, Aldo Castrillo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Penuel Football Club and the Northern California players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 26th match minute, Penuel Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Castrillo to maneuver through the defense. Northern California's Fidel Hernando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Northern California from getting a goal against them. With his leg Fidel Hernando managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Penuel Football Club's Ramos Cuyar fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 35 minutes into the match, Jorge Rojas dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Fidel Hernando, 2-1. Ramos Cuyar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Fidel Hernando made a huge save. Fidel Hernando came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Penuel Football Club's Ramos Cuyar. But to his dismay, Ramos Cuyar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Ramos Cuyar in the 48thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fidel Hernando, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Angelo Estebe was the one to do the kick off. Niceto Ovalle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Fidel Hernando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samuel Burutzagi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th match minute, Penuel Football Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aldo Castrillo to maneuver through the defense. Fidel Hernando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Munio Larrieta, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 59th minute Niceto Ovalle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Hernando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ramos Cuyar took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fidel Hernando. Fidel Hernando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. 67 minutes into the match, Munio Larrieta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fidel Hernando. Northern California's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Munio Larrieta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Fidel Hernando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ramos Cuyar went, in the 72nd minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramos Cuyar in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Hernando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Antonio Mendebal hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. When Gaston Mielgo came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Penuel Football Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gaston Mielgo couldn't finish the play. Northern California's Fidel Hernando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ramos Cuyar in the 81st minute of play. When Aurelio Quinteros fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Northern California's protests and gave Aurelio Quinteros a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Penuel Football Club booed when Northern California was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelio Quinteros didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ramos Cuyar in the 85th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fidel Hernando saved Northern California from getting behind. Ramos Cuyar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Fidel Hernando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Veronica Vielva, who was totally free with the ball in the 94th minute. Penuel Football Club's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
