Spectators: 7742 (Terracing: 5808, Seating: 1780, VIP seats: 154) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ramos Cuyar started the match with the kick off. Celestino Evangelista kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Munio Larrieta kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Penuel Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Danel Ayllon. Penuel Football Club's Eron Reguer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Penuel Football Club from getting a goal against them. Munio Larrieta scored 0-1 in the 18th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jairo Alonso, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 21st minute, Jorge Rojas left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Penuel Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. After a rather tough play, Penuel Football Club's Gaston Mielgo got a free kick in the 26th minute. 31 minutes into the match, Palermo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Diego Osorio came free, but Jairo Alonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 31 minutes, Ramos Cuyar made it 0-3 with a short kick to the right side. Palermo AFC's Jairo Alonso tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Penuel Football Club booed when Palermo AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Evangelista didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jairo Alonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Rojas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jorge Rojas in the 45th minute of play forced Palermo AFC's goalkeeper Jairo Alonso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After the first half Penuel Football Club were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Celestino Evangelista made a kick off. Diego Osorio kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Raul Bertiz hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After having played for 60 minutes, Diego Osorio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Penuel Football Club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Osorio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eron Reguer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Celestino Evangelista went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Ramos Cuyar received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Jairo Alonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Penuel Football Club's Aldo Castrillo was substituted for Munio Larrieta. After 73 minutes, Bernardino Chuse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palermo AFC and the Penuel Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. The crowd rose to their feet as Penuel Football Club's Jorge Rojas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Jairo Alonso. That made the score 1-5 after 79 minutes of play. Jairo Alonso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danel Ayllon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Palermo AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Jorge Rojas came free, but Jairo Alonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 92 minutes, Anacleto Damario mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palermo AFC and the Penuel Football Club players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Palermo AFC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Anacleto Damario hit a great ball. Jairo Alonso was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Jorge Rojas showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-6 in the 95 minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Penuel Football Club left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Palermo AFC.
