Spectators: 7784 (Terracing: 5839, Seating: 1790, VIP seats: 155) Northern California's Angelo Estebe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Northern California's Abel Nabar got a free kick in the 4th minute. 5 minutes into the match, Northern California's goal looked a bit too open when Munio Larrieta came free, but Fidel Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fidel Hernando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jorge Rojas went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Fidel Hernando didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Munio Larrieta went, in the 15th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Munio Larrieta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Fidel Hernando tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 20 played minutes Penuel Football Club got a freekick which was hit by Danel Ayllon. In the 24th minute, Carmelo Oihan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Penuel Football Club getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Danel Ayllon hit a great ball. Fidel Hernando showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Munio Larrieta, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 37th minute, Diego Osorio made a precise shot to the right of Fidel Hernando. Northern California's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Jorge Rojas hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danel Ayllon during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Fidel Hernando came out of the goal in the 46th minute to try and stop a shot by Penuel Football Club's Jorge Rojas. But to his dismay, Jorge Rojas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cresenciano Armental stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Northern California getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Abel Nabar hit a great ball. Fidel Hernando was out of position in the 54 minute of play, and Munio Larrieta capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Munio Larrieta really showed his touch with that goal: 0-6. In the 58th match minute, Northern California was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bernardo Santo to maneuver through the defense. Northern California's Fidel Hernando played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Diego Osorio in the 63rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Diego Osorio in the 64th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fidel Hernando prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 68 minutes into the match, Northern California's goal looked a bit too open when Danel Ayllon came free, but Fidel Hernando reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Penuel Football Club's Eron Reguer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Estebe in the 71st minute of play. Fidel Hernando was a little too slow when Munio Larrieta got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-7. Cresenciano Armental took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fidel Hernando. Fidel Hernando dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-8. The crowd rose to their feet as Penuel Football Club's Diego Osorio slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Fidel Hernando. That made the score 0-9 after 82 minutes of play. Fidel Hernando made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cresenciano Armental in the 94th minute. Penuel Football Club's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
