Fidel Hernando showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miroslaw Poreda in the 22nd minute of the match. Mieszko Hodas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fidel Hernando having to interfere. Fidel Hernando made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kazimierz Hatman in the 27th minute of play. In the 31st minute Mieszko Hodas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fidel Hernando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antonio Mendebal kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Mieszko Hodas struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Fidel Hernando didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Mieszko Hodas made the kick off in the second half. Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mieszko Hodas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fidel Hernando took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kazimierz Hatman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Słoneczna2003 Lidzbark W had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
