With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tomás Esiquio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 43 played minutes The Cavern Club got a freekick which was hit by Martín Cabezon. In the 46th minute, Martín Cabezon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bianco Roberto was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Victoriano Rojelio was the one to do the kick off. Tomás Esiquio came out of the goal in the 73rd minute to try and stop a shot by I ritirandi di Canaus's Alvise Testi. But to his dismay, Alvise Testi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-3. Biagio Dorigatti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Tomás Esiquio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ermegildo Otsoko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Ciro Colagrossi fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The Cavern Club's Tomás Esiquio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrea Tagliente in the 89th minute of play. In the 96th minute Andrea Tagliente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Esiquio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
