Francesco Tacconelli hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Paulo Abreu took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fausto Di Francesco. Fausto Di Francesco dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. With a little luck, Sabadim Harammes PRD's Octávio Valério got control of the ball when Fausto Odisio tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 10th minute, Dennis Vanni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Octávio Valério made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Attilio Pellecchia in the 16th minute of play. Fausto Di Francesco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hildeberto Godinho in the 17th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Paulo Abreu in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fausto Di Francesco saved Gonzo Style f.c from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joaquim Corte-Real in the 21st minute of play forced Gonzo Style f.c's goalkeeper Fausto Di Francesco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Joaquim Corte-Real cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Fausto Di Francesco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 27th match minute, Gonzo Style f.c was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Rigoni to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Corte-Real sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sabadim Harammes PRD's Paulo Abreu in the 32nd minute got a chance for a shot 32nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gonzo Style f.c's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Sabadim Harammes PRD's Amílcar Mourinho got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 36th minute, Paulo Abreu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fausto Di Francesco came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Sabadim Harammes PRD's Paulo Abreu. But to his dismay, Paulo Abreu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Joaquim Corte-Real fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fausto Di Francesco having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
51 minutes into the match, Gonzo Style f.c's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Corte-Real came free, but Fausto Di Francesco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniele Del Prete hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. The supporters of Sabadim Harammes PRD booed when Gonzo Style f.c was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adriano Rigoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Paulo Abreu could shoot a difficult shot in the 58th minute, which Fausto Di Francesco however easily saved by the left post. Paulo Abreu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Fausto Di Francesco made a huge save. After 64 minutes, Christian Di Carlo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gonzo Style f.c and the Sabadim Harammes PRD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 64 played minutes Gonzo Style f.c got a freekick which was hit by Christian Di Carlo. 66 minutes into the game, Humberto Avelar was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sabadim Harammes PRD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gonzo Style f.c the free kick. In the 66th minute, Humberto Avelar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 67th minute of the match Daniele Del Prete shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Octávio Valério showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Attilio Pellecchia was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Gonzo Style f.c's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sabadim Harammes PRD the free kick. After 72 played minutes Gonzo Style f.c got a freekick which was hit by Attilio Pellecchia. After a rather tough play, Gonzo Style f.c's Andrea Di Piazza got a free kick in the 75th minute. A hard shot by Valério Fontoura from long distance, 76 minutes into the match, got Fausto Di Francesco's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Gonzo Style f.c's Fausto Di Francesco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Gonzo Style f.c from getting a goal against them. Paulo Abreus short, quick shot in the 80thth minute got Fausto Di Francesco to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 84th minute, Paulo Abreu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Joaquim Corte-Real received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Fausto Di Francesco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Fausto Odisio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gonzo Style f.c's supporters rose to their feet, but Fausto Odisio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Octávio Valério breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
