Spectators: 7771 (Terracing: 5829, Seating: 1787, VIP seats: 155) Karl-Ove Barck started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After 6 played minutes Golden Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Axel Hägg. Axel Hägg took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomás Esiquio. Tomás Esiquio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. 12 minutes into the game, The Cavern Club's Victoriano Rojelio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Filiph Hedling made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. After 15 played minutes Golden Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Edvard Nykvist. In the 15th minute of the match Mauro Luix shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Filiph Hedling showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Paul Käcker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tomás Esiquio was relentless in the 18th minute of the game. After 21 minutes of play, The Cavern Club's Victoriano Rojelio made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Filiph Hedling was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Cavern Club were furious when Romulo Huly was red carded, 27 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Filiph Hedling showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ermegildo Otsoko in the 38th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the match, The Cavern Club's goalkeeper Tomás Esiquio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Karl-Ove Barck. Tomás Esiquio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Ove Barck in the 43rd minute of play. Tomás Esiquio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Hägg in the 45th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martín Palermo to strike the kick off in the second half. Hans Rudqvist took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tomás Esiquio. The Cavern Club's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Karl-Ove Barck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Tomás Esiquio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, The Cavern Club's Anacleto Lobo got a free kick in the 57th minute. Martín Palermo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Filiph Hedling having to interfere. 68 minutes into the match, Axel Hägg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomás Esiquio. The Cavern Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Hägg was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 77th minute Axel Hägg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Esiquio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 78th match minute, The Cavern Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eusebio Larpe to maneuver through the defense. In the 79th minute Edvard Nykvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Esiquio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 86th match minute, The Cavern Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anacleto Lobo to maneuver through the defense. Axel Hägg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 89th minute, Karl-Ove Barck made a precise shot to the right of Tomás Esiquio. The Cavern Club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2. In the 93rd minute Karl-Ove Barck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomás Esiquio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Golden Lions FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of The Cavern Club for a fine match.
