A hard shot by Martín Cabezon from long distance, 18 minutes into the match, got Filiph Hedling's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Tomás Esiquio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Hägg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27thth minute of the game Paul Käcker who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Cavern Club's Tomás Esiquio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl-Ove Barck in the 30th minute of play forced The Cavern Club's goalkeeper Tomás Esiquio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to The Cavern Club getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Martín Cabezon hit a great ball. Tomás Esiquio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Axel Hägg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martín Cabezon was shown his second yellow card after 44 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Martín Cabezon kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl-Ove Barck made a kick off. Tomás Esiquio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Karl-Ove Barck in the 54th minute. 55 minutes into the match, Victoriano Rojelio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filiph Hedling. Golden Lions FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Victoriano Rojelio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The supporters of The Cavern Club booed when Golden Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evert Ahlgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victoriano Rojelio hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Tomás Esiquio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Ove Barck in the 62nd minute of play. Golden Lions FC were awarded a corner in the 63th minute after The Cavern Club's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Edvard Nykvist took the corner. After 65 played minutes Golden Lions FC got a freekick which was hit by Karl-Ove Barck. In the 66th match minute, The Cavern Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geronimo Vincente to maneuver through the defense. After 72 played minutes The Cavern Club got a freekick which was hit by Romulo Huly. Paul Käcker recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geronimo Vincente charged in rather forcefully in the 87th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Geronimo Vincente the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ermegildo Otsoko might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filiph Hedling. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ermegildo Otsoko ran back to his position shaking his head. Edvard Nykvist hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 97 minutes into the match, Golden Lions FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Otsoko came free, but Filiph Hedling reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
