Pim Haremeijer started the match with the kick off. In the 4th minute, Anselmo Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gooitzen van Rijswijk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nilton Bittencourt went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Cacá Sousa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pim Haremeijer in the 18th minute of the match. After 24 played minutes ASV Muziekwijk got a freekick which was hit by Elroy Meder. 31 minutes into the game, Humberto Botelho cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Gooitzen van Rijswijk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Cacá Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jelte de Jong in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th match minute, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Vides to maneuver through the defense. Cacá Sousa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pim Haremeijer, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. The supporters of ASV Muziekwijk booed when Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Cacá Sousa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kees Iemberge in the 40th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Jelte de Jong had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cacá Sousa. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jelte de Jong was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Pim Haremeijer during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Pim Haremeijer hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Deivid Moreira to make the kick off. Gooitzen van Rijswijk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nilton Bittencourt in the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute, Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Nilton Bittencourt ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Gooitzen van Rijswijk. Gooitzen van Rijswijk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Kees Iemberge received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Cacá Sousa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 75 played minutes Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Deivid Moreira. In the 82nd minute ASV Muziekwijk were awarded a corner. Pim Haremeijer went to the cornerflag to take it. Jelte de Jong hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. In the 87th match minute, ASV Muziekwijk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniël Rijkaard to maneuver through the defense. If Kees Iemberge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
