An unexpectedly hard shot by Karl Helmersen in the 4th minute of play forced ASV Muziekwijk's goalkeeper Gooitzen van Rijswijk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gooitzen van Rijswijk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Stig Halseth went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Kees Iemberge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils-Johan Nyhagen having to interfere. 16 minutes into the match, Λstral Villains FC's goalkeeper Nils-Johan Nyhagen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kees Iemberge. After 18 played minutes Λstral Villains FC got a freekick which was hit by Birk Fretheim. 19 minutes into the match, Λstral Villains FC's goal looked a bit too open when Pim Haremeijer came free, but Nils-Johan Nyhagen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of ASV Muziekwijk booed when Λstral Villains FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andreas Espe didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the game, ASV Muziekwijk's Filip Koekkoek nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nils-Johan Nyhagen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Nils-Johan Nyhagen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kees Iemberge, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Kees Iemberge could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Nils-Johan Nyhagen made a huge save. Nils-Johan Nyhagen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jelte de Jong in the 30th minute. After a rather tough play, ASV Muziekwijk's Kees Iemberge got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Pim Haremeijer fired away a difficult shot at goal in the 49th minute. He almost succeeded, but the ball bounced in the crossbar and then went out. It was a very nice shot. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Pim Haremeijer was the one to do the kick off. Kees Iemberge scored 2-1 in the 57th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nils-Johan Nyhagen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gooitzen van Rijswijk had great luck who in the 62ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Karl Helmersen from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. In the 64th minute, Filip Koekkoek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 66th minute, Kees Iemberge left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ASV Muziekwijk fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Nils-Johan Nyhagen dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-2. Gooitzen van Rijswijk was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Jack Rinde. In the 94th match minute, ASV Muziekwijk was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pim Haremeijer to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ASV Muziekwijk fully deserved thier win.
