Psiu!'s Amadeu Sousa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Psiu! from getting a goal against them. Teodosio Cerda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matheus Paiva, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th match minute, Club Deportes Santa Cruz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teodosio Pimentel to maneuver through the defense. 28 minutes into the match, Club Deportes Santa Cruz's goal looked a bit too open when Afonso Leite came free, but Teodosio Cerda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
