In the 10th minute of the match Ariel Cisco sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nils-Johan Nyhagen skillfully saved the ball. Nils-Johan Nyhagen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Ayala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 15 played minutes Λstral Villains FC got a freekick which was hit by Andreas Espe. 18 minutes into the match, Λstral Villains FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lázaro Ayala came free, but Nils-Johan Nyhagen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Λstral Villains FC's Nils-Johan Nyhagen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genaro Iliana in the 25th minute of play. 30 minutes into the match, Λstral Villains FC's goal looked a bit too open when Genaro Iliana came free, but Nils-Johan Nyhagen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Λstral Villains FC defense, Lázaro Ayala kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Nils-Johan Nyhagen. The Λstral Villains FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Nils-Johan Nyhagen should have stopped the shot. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind LTA FC's goalkeeper Roberto Oliverio, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Andreas Espe charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Andreas Espe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Λstral Villains FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Andreas Espe hit a great ball. Nils-Johan Nyhagen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Genaro Iliana, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Karl Helmersen made a kick off. Karl Helmersen's late challenge caught a LTA FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karl Helmersen helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of LTA FC booed when Λstral Villains FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karl Helmersen didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Iliana in the 53rd minute of play forced Λstral Villains FC's goalkeeper Nils-Johan Nyhagen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gaudencio Hernandez during the 55th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. LTA FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ariel Cisco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Genaro Iliana got free with Nils-Johan Nyhagen in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The LTA FC fans' excitement grew in the 64th match minute when LTA FC's Lázaro Ayala looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Λstral Villains FC made a substitution. Kenneth Mæhre replaced Karl Helmersen. In the 67th minute, Zeledon Orlanda hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute Zeledon Orlanda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nils-Johan Nyhagen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hipolito Batista got free with Nils-Johan Nyhagen in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nils-Johan Nyhagen made an important save on a dangerous shot by Hipolito Batista in the 82nd minute. Gonzalo Txema kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lázaro Ayala in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nils-Johan Nyhagen saved Λstral Villains FC from getting behind. 92 minutes into the match, Λstral Villains FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hipolito Batista came free, but Nils-Johan Nyhagen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Gualterio Llanos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. LTA FC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
