Cacá Sousa yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lázaro Ayala during the 8th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to LTA FC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Lázaro Ayala hit a great ball. In the 10th minute Ariel Cisco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th match minute, LTA FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Berdaitz to maneuver through the defense. Wilton Viana recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Humberto Botelho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Roberto Oliverio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Genaro Mederi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 21st minute, Deivid Moreira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Roberto Oliverio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Genaro Iliana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roberto Oliverio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nilton Bittencourt in the 28th minute of play. Cacá Sousa was out of position in the 29 minute of play, and Lázaro Ayala capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Lázaro Ayala really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. Roberto Oliverio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deivid Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Deivid Moreira hit a great ball. 44 minutes into the game, Ariel Cisco recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Cacá Sousa. Ariel Cisco showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-1. In the 47th minute Lázaro Ayala shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Deivid Moreira to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute Ariel Cisco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 55th minute, Lino Freire hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to LTA FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Zeledon Orlanda hit a great ball. Cacá Sousa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Ayala, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Ariel Cisco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 62ndth minute of the game Lázaro Ayala who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's Cacá Sousa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 63rd minute, Zeledon Orlanda made a precise shot to the right of Cacá Sousa. Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. In the 67th minute Ariel Cisco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cacá Sousa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 71st minute, Ariel Cisco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LTA FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-1. LTA FC's Hipolito Batista was substituted for Ariel Cisco. 77 minutes into the match, LTA FC's goal looked a bit too open when Nilton Bittencourt came free, but Roberto Oliverio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Humberto Botelho fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Laranja Mecânica FSCMZ's protests and gave Humberto Botelho a yellow card for diving instead. Humberto Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Genaro Iliana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cacá Sousa having to interfere. A collision led to LTA FC getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Cristian Berdaitz hit a great ball. LTA FC's Roberto Oliverio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save LTA FC from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Genaro Iliana managed to get in a good position for a shot. LTA FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Genaro Iliana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cacá Sousa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. LTA FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
