An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Jesco in the 3rd minute of play forced KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalkeeper Daniel Jurgiel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the KS Piastów Sosnowiec defense, Gabriel Carlomagno kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Jurgiel. The KS Piastów Sosnowiec fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Daniel Jurgiel should have stopped the shot. 9 minutes into the match, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goal looked a bit too open when Amado Pacorro came free, but Daniel Jurgiel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kajetan Furgal in the 16th minute of play forced Independiente's goalkeeper Hector Txartiko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 20 played minutes KS Piastów Sosnowiec got a freekick which was hit by Michal Awizo. The long shot by Teobaldo Casomiro in the 21st minute really tested Daniel Jurgiel's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Hector Txartiko took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan Radzyminski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hector Txartiko didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Kajetan Furgal went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. With a little luck, KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Daniel Jurgiel got control of the ball when Amado Pacorro tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amado Pacorro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute Amado Pacorro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Jurgiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 61st minute, Gabriel Carlomagno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th minute, Arturo Jesco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Daniel Jurgiel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arturo Jesco in the 66th minute of play. A collision led to KS Piastów Sosnowiec getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Przemyslaw Cipinski hit a great ball. Teobaldo Casomiro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 67th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Daniel Jurgiel. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Arkadiusz Jastrowicz hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. In the 70th minute Teobaldo Casomiro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Daniel Jurgiel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Independiente booed when KS Piastów Sosnowiec was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Przemyslaw Cipinski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Wojciech Domeracki scored 2-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hector Txartiko, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. KS Piastów Sosnowiec's Daniel Jurgiel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amado Pacorro in the 84th minute of play. Michal Awizo lost his temper 86 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 86th minute, one of KS Piastów Sosnowiec:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for KS Piastów Sosnowiec. In the 92nd match minute, Independiente was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amado Pacorro to maneuver through the defense. For all the effort they put into the match, the KS Piastów Sosnowiec players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Independiente.
